The opportunity to save $50.00 of regular advance registration rates for the upcoming CSAC Legislative Conference, scheduled for April 24-25 in Sacramento, ends Saturday, March 16. After this date, attendees can still register online through April 12.

Our 2019 Legislative Conference will provide county officials the latest information from the State Capitol on budget and legislative issues. The workshops planned for this year’s conference will provide important opportunities to dive deeper into County issues and develop strategies moving forward that preserve the resources, authority and flexibility counties need to meet the unique priorities of their communities.

With a new administration can come new agency and department heads, as well as new priorities. While CSAC has already made great strides in forging relationships with the Governor’s office, there is more work to be done. A key feature of this year’s Legislative Conference will be a session featuring executive staff who lead state departments and agencies that oversee county programs.

The Conference will also provide ample opportunities to help set CSAC legislative policy, visit with your local legislative delegation, and network with your colleagues.
