CSAC has filed a brief in the Second Appellate District arguing that the Mello-Roos Act must be broadly construed in order to further its purpose.  This would include allowing Mello-Roos funds to be used not only for acquisition of real property, but for other intangible assets associated with the project or acquisition.  CSAC’s brief was prepared by Kendall MacVey at Best, Best & Krieger in Riverside.
