ILG to Host Public Engagement Training – Registration Now Open

Local governments throughout California are applying a variety of public engagement strategies and approaches to address issues ranging from land use and budgeting to climate change and public safety. The Institute for Local Government (ILG) will be hosting a TIERS Public Engagement Learning Lab on January 23-24, 2019, in West Sacramento.
The TIERS Public Engagement Learning Lab as an interactive, results-oriented program that provides participants with pre-training consultation, an immersive two-day training, customized implementation coaching, ’open lab’ calls for problem solving and much more. This program will help counties build and manage successful public engagement in order to support their work, stakeholder input and project success.
