CSAC has joined a coalition of local government associations supporting a petition pending in the California Supreme Court challenging the constitutionality of the Taxpayer Protection and Government Accountability Act. Consistent with the CSAC Board of Directors’ action to oppose the measure, the local government coalition brief explains how the lack of clarity in the measure will create significant operational concerns for local government, impeding vital local services and constraining long term planning.
