The past, present and future of climate change policy in California
Recently, CSAC AENR’s Senior Legislative Representative Cara Martinson presented on California’s climate change policies to a group of attorneys, land use planners, regional and local government officials, Tribal officials, real estate developers, environmental consultants, and others involved with climate issues at the local and regional levels.
This presentation presents a history of California’s climate change policy and an update of the most recent actions taken by the Legislature and Administration to meet California’s emission reduction goals. This presentation is a valuable tool for any counties wishing to get a better understanding of climate change policies in California.
