Matt Cate to Serve on PPIC Statewide Leadership Council
Group Plays Crucial Role in Institute's Mission to Improve Public Policy in California
CSAC Executive Director Matt Cate has accepted an invitation to serve on the Public Policy Institute of Calfiornia’s Statewide Leadership Council.
The primary role of the Leadership Council is to provide insight, advice and informed opinions regarding the state’s policy environment and the Institute’s initiatives, programs and activities.
According to PPIC President and CEO Mark Baldassare, the Leadership Council is a crucial part of the Institute’s mission to inform and improve public policy in California.
“It’s an honor to be invited to serve on the Statewide Leadership Council,” Cate said. “The PPIC has an incredible reputation as an objective source of information on the public policy issues most vital to California Counties and the 38 million residents we serve. I look forward to helping the Institute continue its important work as a thought-leader in California.”
