The Supreme Court has taken up the issue of how to apply the “good cause” standard under Penal Code section 1305.4 for extension of the period to exonerate bail.  CSAC’s brief arguing that good cause requires a demonstration of a reasonable likelihood of success of returning a fugitive was prepared by its Associate Counsel Janis Herbstman.
