CSAC has filed an amicus brief in support of San Francisco arguing that local agencies have the right to unilaterally impose a use of force policy, and that adoption of such policies are not subject to mandatory collective bargaining.  CSAC’s brief was drafted by Erich Shiners with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore in Sacramento.
