Upcoming CSAC Annual Meeting — A Week of Related Activities on the Agenda
As you plan your travel schedule to attend the 2019 CSAC Annual Meeting in San Francisco, please note that there are related activities that span the entire week.
The Women’s Leadership Forum starts the ball rolling with a business meeting and workshop on Monday afternoon (Dec. 2), followed by a reception that evening. The workshop will focus on “Leading Consciously: Understanding the Science of Unconscious (Implicit) Bias.” Please note you will be attending this event when filling out your registration.
Tuesday activities start bright and early with a variety of morning activities, including the annual CSAC Innovation Summit that will focus on caring for California’s children. The CSAC Agriculture, Environment & Natural Resources Policy Committee will also be meeting Tuesday morning, as well as the Clerks of the Board, who will kick off their annual meeting track of events.
The rest of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be full of General Sessions, workshops and meetings, culminating in the Annual Banquet and swearing in of our officers on Thursday night. Our affiliation associations – the County Engineers Association of California and the California Clerks of the Board of Supervisors Association – wrap up their meetings on Friday morning.
CSAC has added a new event to the schedule this year: an Awards Breakfast on Thursday morning. Please make sure you sign up for this free event when you register for the conference. It will provide a great opportunity to honor a number of deserving county officials, staff and programs.
Take advantage of our early bird registration rates to save $50.00 off regular advance rates.
